If you’re feeling peckish for some quality Peking duck, look no further than Forbidden Duck. This Cantonese restaurant is helmed by the famous ‘Demon Chef’ Alvin Leung, and is renowned for serving some of the best Peking ducks and dim sum in Singapore.
At Forbidden Duck, you can enjoy their duck in two ways. The classic Peking duck, also known as Forbidden Duck ($48++/$78++) features a thin, crispy skin over succulent duck meat. Alternatively, you can opt for the Signature Slow Roasted Duck ($58++/$88++), which is slow-cooked to preserve its natural flavour and juiciness. The duck is then roasted on high heat for a short time, resulting in a crispy, seared skin and tender meat.
If you’re a fan of roasted meat, don’t miss out on their Iberico Pork Char Siew ($36++), which boasts thick slices of char siew with a perfect balance of sweet and savoury. Pair your char siew with their Crispy Roast Pork Belly ($15++), which is well-known for its crackling skin and succulent fat.Â

Forbidden Duck is also famous for their premium dim sum. Some crowd favourites include Chicken Feet With Abalone ($18++). Be sure to try their other popular dim sum dishes, such as Mexican Milk Bun ($9++), Steamed Rice Rolls With Barbecued Pork ($9++), and Deep Fried Prawn Dumplings ($9++)!
Do take note that their dim sum dishes are only available from 11:30am to 2:30pm daily.Â

Finish off your meal with their iconic Giant Egg Tart ($8++ for two). This dessert features smooth egg custard with a flaky, buttery crust. There’s also a layer of yuzu marmalade at its base for a sweet, tangy finish.Â
