Calling all smoothie and Thai dessert fans! Thailand’s famous smoothie chain, Fruiturday, has finally docked at the shores of our little red dot, at Northpoint City. Taking into account their unique, eye-catching drinks, it’s not hard to see why the brand has gained popularity since it started back in 2014.

One interesting drink out of the 28 on the menu is their Mango Sticky Rice Shake ($6.90). This shake undergoes a tedious, three-hour process to make every morning, hence, it is only limited to early birds. You will be given the option of having your drink either ‘fine’ (fully blended) or ‘chunky’ (partially blended). I recommend opting for ‘chunky’ as you’ll get to better savour the taste of the mango and rice pieces.

Another promising drink is the Coconut Sago Shake ($5.90), a refreshing cup with chewy sago bits mixed in. With all the hype around anything coconut lately, this is one drink you could go coco-nuts over! Fruiturday has plans to expand into areas such as NEX and Jem, so stay posted for news about that soon.
