Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar Is Back From 26 Feb To 31 March 2025

Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar is back at Wisma Geylang Serai

Hari Raya season is approaching and that means one thing: bazaars will be back in full swing! If these food fairs are something you look forward to, pay a visit to the upcoming Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar. The fair will take place at Wisma Geylang Serai.

The bazaar will run from 26 February to 31 March 2025, from 10am to 11:59pm daily, which gives you plenty of time to check out everything they offer. Although the list of vendors has yet to be finalised, you can expect over 150 food and drink stalls this year.

FYI, all the food items will be either halal-certified or Muslim-friendly! Here are some of our favourite stalls from last year’s lineup, which you can look forward to seeing this year.

Jumbo hotdogs are a food fair staple, and we were happy to get our fix at the Frank On Wheels’ booth last year. There is a wide range of flavours here, including the Dendeng Chilli Beef ($12.90), Truffle Egg Mayo ($11.90), and our personal favourite, the Mentai-King ($12.90). This is drizzled in generous amounts of mentaiko sauce and charred for a smoky touch!

Another snack we loved munching on was the Thai Fried Banana at Thai Dessert House. The banana fritters were deep-fried to a beautiful golden brown, boasting a crispy exterior with a sweet, juicy banana within. These were priced at $4 for six pieces, and were one of the more affordable options at the fair!

Last but not least, you can’t go wrong with freshly made takoyaki. The octopus balls we had last year at Detako were one of our highlights at the fair, and they came in flavours such as Wasabi Mayo ($7) and Egg Mayo ($8).

These are just a few of the many delicious bites you might be able to grab this year. Keep an eye on our space for more updates when the bazaar officially opens on 26 February 2025!

In other news, check out the best cheap eats in Orchard for only $10 or less, including Vietnamese banh mi, yong tao foo, bagels and more! For more great Muslim-friendly options, check out the Gino’s East x Tenderfresh collab for delicious Chicago deep-dish pizza!
