Kohaku Sabo Has Viral Jiggly Cat And Duck Puddings In Chinatown

Kohaku Sabo has adorable jiggly pudding in Chinatown

Kohaku Sabo is a popular Japanese teahouse cafe at Chinatown Point serving up affordable Uni Mentaiko Udon, Sweet Potato Creme Brulee and more—but that’s not all. Recently added to their menu are jiggly cat and duck puddings that have gone viral on TikTok.

As its name suggests, the Coconut Jiggly Cat ($8.80++) is a cat-shaped coconut milk pudding with a side of tapioca pearls. The Taro Jiggly Cat ($8.80++) is a purple variation of the dessert, featuring a taro pudding with a side of whipped cream and sprinkles. Online reviews tout the taro as less sweet than its coconut counterpart, so if you’re not a fan of overly sweet stuff, we recommend opting for the Taro Jiggly Cat instead.

If your cat pudding needs a friend, get the Bouncing Duck ($8.80++) too, featuring banana milk pudding with thinly sliced strawberries and peaches, blueberries, blue jelly, and tapioca pearls, finished with a creamy milk drizzle. It doesn’t fall apart no matter how hard you shake it, but take a bite and you’ll realise how soft the pudding is!

The best part is that each plate comes with black food colouring and a brush, so you can draw on your jiggly pals just for laughs.

FYI, there are limited servings of this sweet treat daily, so I recommend you come before the crowd thickens to secure your jiggly pudding.

If you can’t get enough of this adorable dessert, check out Hello Jello at Bedok Market Place offering the prettiest jello dessert bowls. Otherwise, read our Chinatown Point food guide if you’re in the area for dim sum, hotpot suppers and more.
