Unless you have VIP benefits, Haidilao is not something everyone has on a whim, especially since it isn’t cheap. But this piece of good news might just change your mind: the DIY dessert bar at Haidilao has more than 20 toppings at only $4.90++ per person! Do note that this cheap thrill can only be enjoyed at their Bugis+ outlet.

If you’re stumped by the variety of toppings on offer, you can start by following the step-by-step instructions on how to make Osmanthus Ai Yu Jelly, Classic Ice Kachang, or Fruit Combination Ice. Else, let your creativity flow, and create a concoction of your own!
Among the many toppings to choose from, some standouts include taro ball, sweet potato ball, cendol, and red bean.
Alternatively, you can create a healthier dessert bowl with the range of fresh fruits available here, including peach, kiwi, watermelon, and honeydew. Take note that there’s a shaved ice machine for you to make your dessert base, but if you prefer something else, you can opt for their grass jelly, tofu pudding, or ai yu jelly as the base instead.Â

This is Haidilao’s first ever shaved ice dessert bar, so enjoy the good deal while it lasts. Currently, it’s only available at their Bugis+ outlet from 11am to 6pm every day.Â
