This Orchard Restaurant Has $38++ Omakase With 15 Courses

Hana Restaurant is offering $38++ omakase

Singapore has a fair few cheap omakase options, with Hana Restaurant being one of the most popular picks. The restaurant, located in Forum The Shopping Mall, has an omakase menu that is priced at just $38++ for 15 courses—this works out to just $2.50 a course!

As is customary with omakase, each course is small and can be finished in one or two bites. The course menu moves from cold starters to fresh sashimi and seafood options, then sushi, tempura, other hot dishes, and finally, dessert.

Omakase menus are never fixed, given that they are, by definition, up to the chef’s preference, but you can expect dishes such as their Asari Butter Clams, Grilled Scallop Mentaiko, and a trio of aburi sushi.

Aside from the $38++ omakase for 15 courses, you can also get a more premium omakase for the same price, albeit with 12 courses instead. You get a tray of small plates served to you, with each course neatly arranged atop. Dishes include grilled saba, fried Hiroshima oysters, loaded kappa maki and plenty more.

If you want to jio your vegetarian friend along, note that Hana Restaurant also has a Vegemakase menu that caters to plant-based diners, with bites such as a Crispy Avocado Rice Maki and more. You get 15 courses for $38++.

Aside from omakase, Hana Restaurant is known for their trendy Asian dishes. Recently, they also began selling the viral jiggly Korean dessert that’s been taking TikTok by storm.
