Hansik Dining Collective: 24/7 Korean Restaurant With Six Concepts In Tanjong Pagar

Hansik Dining Collective is a new 24-hour Korean restaurant

If you ask a Singaporean what to do in Tanjong Pagar, they’ll likely tell you about the vibrant rows of heritage shophouses, bustling art districts, quirky pubs, and stylish bars. And, of course, they won’t miss mentioning the area’s impressive selection of Korean restaurants. Adding to this already dynamic culinary scene is Hansik Dining Collective, which officially opened their doors on 11 November 2024.

Nestled within a beautifully conserved shophouse, Hansik Dining Collective features six distinct dining and bar concepts, including three new and three beloved existing brands.

Spanning two floors, Hansik Dining Collective is said to be Singapore’s first 24-hour Korean food and beverage hub. The first floor will operate around the clock, while the second floor will remain open until 2am, catering to late-night diners.

Upon entering the first floor, guests will discover three unique dining concepts within a spacious, open-plan area that can accommodate up to 118 guests, with six private rooms available for booking.

The six stores are namely The GoGi Jip, Halmae Gukbab, and Hanyang Bulgogi on level one, as well as Kko Kko Na Ra, ChungSa ChoRong, and My Patio on level two.

If you’re craving some K-BBQ, order from Go Gi Jip Premium Korean BBQ. They offer top-quality ingredients, including the premium cuts of Iberico and black pork that are known for their exceptional tenderness and rich, juicy flavours. The Iberico pork, sourced from free-range pastures in Spain and raised on a natural, hormone-free diet, is said to boast a superior taste.

Don’t miss their signature Ganjang Gejang ($85++): soy-marinated raw crab made with crabs flown in fresh from Korea’s Yeonpyeong Island. The dish boasts incredibly fresh, succulent crab meat paired with creamy, flavourful roe that melts in your mouth. For the ultimate experience, mix the savoury roe and crab meat into steamed rice!

For a hearty, traditional Korean meal, Halmae Gukbab is a must-try. Inspired by the founder’s mother, the menu features rich, comforting dishes such as Seolleongtang ($25++), a creamy ox bone broth packed with calcium and collagen, and Siraegi Gukbab ($25++), a nourishing dried radish soup.

Other signature offerings include the slow-simmered Dwaeji Gukbab ($25++), a pork soup served with rice, and Dak Gomtang ($30++), a soul-warming chicken soup featuring a 60-year-old family recipe.

Alternatively, visit Hanyang Bulgogi for their signature. Bulgogi Jungol ($65++ for 500g), a bubbling hotpot of marinated beef, fresh vegetables, and glass noodles in a savoury broth, traditionally cooked tableside.

The dish features succulent barbecued beef stew, with tender, juicy meat simmered in a rich, savoury broth. Complemented by fresh vegetables and chewy glass noodles, it’s a hearty and satisfying meal.

Another standout is their Bibimbap (price TBD), served Jeolla-do style on a hot stone plate with fresh vegetables for a wholesome meal.

If you’re craving Korean fried chicken, head up to the second floor and you’ll find the well-known Kko Kko Na Ra. A standout is their Ma Neul Gan Jang (Garlic Soy Chicken) (price TBD), made with hand-crushed garlic and a unique blend of 41 premium ingredients imported from Korea. The restaurant offers a range of fried chicken flavours, including Soy Garlic, Spicy Garlic, and Mala, along with popular mains such as kimchi jjigae and army stew.

No Korean meal is complete without the perfect drink to pair it with, The second floor houses two distinct bar experiences: Chung Sa Cho Rong, a traditional Korean bar, and My Patio, famous for its Korean craft beers.

Whether you’re in the mood for hearty meals or drinks in a vibrant setting, consider checking out Hansik Dining Collective when you’re in the CBD area!
