The bubble tea craze doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon. Aside from big names such as KOI and LiHo, many more underrated bubble tea shops are popping up. And newest on the block is HOLLIN Bubble Tea. Located at Toa Payoh Central, the BBT shop is opened by a bunch of Taiwanese folks and it specialises in handmade flavoured pearls, with flavours that change each day.

Fixed on the menu is their Honey White Pearl that’s available daily. While matcha, cocoa, coconut, coffee, peanut, black sesame, and rock salt are only available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday respectively. The pearls cost an additional $0.70.

Their teas are not to be overlooked. The shop offers Tea ($2.20 to $4.90), Tea Latte ($3.20 to $5.20) and Rock Salt Macchiato ($3.20 to $5.20). A must-try is their signature Matcha Latte ($4.20), that has a distinct subtle bitterness from Japanese green tea powder. Hollin Black Tea Latte ($3.20 medium, $4.20 large) is not too sweet, and has a strong floral flavour from the roasted tea leaves.

They are still at their soft launch phase, so be kind and allow them some leeway to fine tune their operations.
