There’s nothing like a warm plate of economic bee hoon on a slow morning, preferably with a cup of kopi. Those living near Beauty World Centre are lucky to have Huat Soon Golden Wu Xiang Prawn Fritters, where a generous serving of bee hoon, paired with two choices of your fritters, costs just $2.80.

The first thing that will catch your attention at the stall is a huge bamboo basket that keeps the bee hoon warm. We’re not sure how much the bee hoon alone costs, but the menu includes two items: Bee Hoon + 2 Items ($2.80) and Bee Hoon + 3 Items ($3.50).

There are plenty of fried ingredients to choose from, and as far as we know, you can pick whichever you fancy for your sides.

If you’re getting some wu xiang and fritters to share, some popular picks here include the Taiwan Sausage ($1.60), Century Egg ($1.50), and Ngoh Hiang Roll ($1.60), as well as a handful of seafood options: O-Tah ($1.70), Big Fish Ball ($0.80), and Cuttlefish ($3). There are also dipping sauces for your fritters, so make sure to get some if you don’t mind a bit of spice.

FYI, there’s a takeaway option too, should you wish to da bao your meal!

The economic bee hoon stall is located at Beauty World Centre, which is a stone’s throw away from Beauty World MRT Station. Business takes place every day from 9am to 8:30pm, which means you can visit the stall for any of your three meals.

If you love bee hoon as much as we do, check out Cheeky Signature’s, where we had the best bee hoon soup in Singapore. Otherwise, read our Beauty World food guide for DIY okonomiyaki and famous Eng Kee wings.
