If you live near Katong or Joo Chiat, you may have seen iMall, a new shopping centre that has just opened at Marine Parade Central. Located right next to Marine Parade MRT Station, this eight-storey mall offers a small but varied lineup of eateries, from familiar local brands to new concepts.

Among the established names is Toast Box, where you can get the chain’s signature kaya toast sets and local kopi.

There’s also EAT., known for its halal-certified, hawker-style fare, including fishball noodles and laksa. We don’t have exact prices, but each bowl usually costs around $4 at other outlets.

For something on the go, Beutea offers flavoured milk teas and a unique Bitter Melon Coriander Tea ($7.90), newly launched as part of their Fresh Fruit Series. You can also collect their blind box bubble tea plushies while you’re there!

Alternatively, visit Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea for their refreshing tea beverages, such as the signature Yi Fang Fruit Tea (from $5.90) and Peach Oolong Iced Tea (from $7.10).

Fans of mala can venture to Tang² Malatang, which lets you customise a bowl of malatang by selecting your choice of vegetables, meats, and noodles, all priced by weight: $2.98 per 100g.

Otherwise, head to Shikao for their signature Chongqing Tofu Grilled Fish (from $46.90++). According to online reviews, the fish is fresh, and the portion is said to be generous.

Rounding out the line-up is Kuan Zhai Wan Wan Xiang, another Sichuan eatery offering a self-service mala experience, and A-One Congee Concept, known for its claypot congee.
