Get Hotpot Buffet From $19.90+ With Free-Flow Lok Lok At This Bedok Restaurant

Imperial Taste Steamboat Buffet has hotpot buffet from $19.90+ at Bedok

If you’re looking for an affordable hotpot buffet to check out, look no further than Imperial Taste Steamboat Buffet. This Bedok restaurant prices its buffet from just $19.90+, which gets you a range of tantalising soup bases, meat, seafood and more. Better yet, you can also enjoy a free flow of lok lok skewers!

Start by choosing two soup bases from the five varieties available: Herbal, Tomato, Butter Mala, and the two recommended flavours, Creamy Pork Broth and Milky Bak Kut Teh.

Then, order the meats and seafood you’d like to feast on. These include the likes of beef shabu, pork belly slices, dory fish, and prawns.

We found that most of these ingredients were pretty good, but the beef shabu was a standout—each piece was sizeable, succulent, and melt-in-your-mouth.

You can also enjoy the restaurant’s 21 side dishes and vegetables, which include Chinese sausages, lobster balls, broccoli, enoki mushrooms and more. All of these dishes can either be cooked in your hotpot, or prepared lok lok-style—just approach the staff, who’ll skewer and deep-fry these dishes for you!

Do note, however, that the lok lok option is only available if you’re having dinner from Fridays to Sundays at the restaurant.

As you’d expect from any good hotpot buffet, you get to create your own sauce mix at the condiments station. Whatever concoction you whip up, be sure to include the restaurant’s piquant ā€œspecially-curated chilli sauceā€ in it!

This buffet also comes with unlimited ice cream and snacks. You’ll find the latter at a designated snack station filled with retro goodies—think potato wheels, iced gems and more.

Imperial Taste’s prices vary depending on the day of the week and whether you’re there for lunch or dinner. The Lunch Buffet costs $19.90+ from Mondays to Thursdays, while they are priced at $29.90+ from Fridays to Sundays. Meanwhile, the Dinner Buffet will set you back $28.90+ from Mondays to Thursdays, and $37.90+ on Fridays to Sundays.
