If you’re active on TikTok, you might have come across videos of Indy Pancake Cartoon‘s cute cartoon pancakes. This popular kiosk from Thailand frequently makes its rounds in Bangkok night markets, mostly at Jodd Fairs. From now till 1 Jan 2023, you can get your hands on the TikTok-famous carton pancakes at The Great Bay Fiesta, a Christmas fair at the Bayfront event space near Marina Bay Sands (MBS).

Hailing from Bangkok, Indy Pancake Cartoon, as its name suggests, specialises in cooked-to-order pancakes with designs of popular cartoons.

Everything is hand-piped meticulously onto a hot grill; the pancake maker carefully fills in each design with a variety of colours.

Choose from over 100 cartoon designs, with each pancake priced at $12, or $20 for two. Popular designs include Hello Kitty, Iron Man, and Toothless. The colourful pancakes are finished with a light brushing of butter before they’re served. They’re said to be tender with a flavourful crumb.

You can also look forward to other delicious eats as part of The Great Bay Fiesta, including onigiri from Hitokuchi Onigiri. There are also fresh seafood and freshly-grilled skewers, along with coconut shakes from CocoSan. The event runs from 1pm to 10pm, though we’ve heard that most of the food vendors open from 4pm onwards.

For more information on the festival, visit The Great Bay Fiesta website.

If you’re in town, also check out Ngee Ann City’s outdoor Christmas market, happening from now till 2 January 2023! Here you can feast on mochi doughnuts, crispy vadai, Philly cheesesteaks and more.
