Isetan’s Momiji Matsuri Fair To Debut At Jurong Point With Over 20 Japanese Stalls

Isetan Momiji Matsuri food fair heads to Jurong Point

If you’ve made the trek east to NEX Serangoon or up north to Northpoint City for Isetan’s food fair before, here’s some good news: the West is finally getting its turn. From 6 October to 18 October, Isetan is bringing its Momiji Matsuri food fair to Jurong Point JP1 Centre Stage for the first time, setting up more than 20 vendors, most of them flown in specially from Japan.

This comes hot on the heels of Isetan’s Japanese Summer Festival at Northpoint City in August, and roughly two years after its last Momiji Matsuri run at NEX. This time, the fair anchors Jurong Point’s own Food Feastival campaign, which runs until 1 November and includes a Mid-Autumn fair, artisan markets, and mall-wide shopping rewards, on top of the mall’s existing Japanese Food Street precinct.

Isetan has yet to release individual prices for the Singapore edition, but here’s a first look at the vendor lineup below.

Ijima Shoten, a stall hailing from Kumamoto, handles the seafood side of things with grilled squid, boiled scallops and more, coated in savoury sauces.

Nakayama Shokuhin, a recurring food fair favourite, is also serving up takoyaki with tender octopus in a light, fluffy batter.

Mitamura goes the meaty route with its signature minced pork cutlet, alongside five varieties of croquettes.

Higo Marunoya brings serious credentials to the karaage game as a four-time consecutive champion at the Kumamoto Fried Chicken Championship. The chicken is marinated with ingredients including shio koji, before it’s deep-fried in soybean oil.

For something sweet, Yakimono Club has mini taiyaki in eight filling options, plus the classic pink, white and green dango.

That’s not all. Running alongside the food fair is a Japanese-themed artisan market at the walkway near Decathlon on JP1 Level 1, with arts, crafts and lifestyle products from a curated line-up of vendors.

There’s also a Mid-Autumn Fair happening at the same JP1 Centre Stage from 7 September to 25 September, with mooncakes from names such as Goodwood Park Hotel, Peach Garden and Tai Chong Kok! You can check out our guide to the best mooncakes in Singapore for 2026 if you prefer shopping online.
