Besides hunting for the best JB hawker food stalls to get mouthwatering dishes at unbeatable prices, a must-do in my Johor Bahru itinerary has always been visiting adorable furry friends while sipping coffee. If you’re like me, here’s a list of the best Johor Bahru dog and cat cafes specially curated for you.
The current exchange rate is RM1 = ~S$0.31 as of 10 November 2025.
For cats and cakes, visit Meow Me Cat House, where you can enjoy the company of adorable cats without paying an entrance or cover fee. The experience doesn’t come entirely free, though, as you have to spend a minimum of RM8 to secure a seat in the cafe.
We especially loved the Tiramisu Latte (RM17), a bittersweet iced latte topped with creamy mascarpone, cocoa powder, and ladyfingers. If you’re looking for a light bite, go for the Basque Burnt Cheesecake (RM18), a creamy and hearty treat that’s perfect for two people.
