Jollibee Finally Opens At NEX, Bringing Chickenjoy To The Northeast

Jollibee NEX arrives

NEX is seriously thriving of late, what with many popular dining concepts popping up across its floors. The latest to join the Serangoon-based heartland mall food directory is Jollibee NEX, which opened today.

As its sixth outlet in Singapore, Jollibee NEX is the first of its kind in the Northeast. Located in Basement 1 of NEX, the outlet faces the M1 store.

The Filipino fast food chain will be bringing all its highlights to this new outlet, including their latest Nasi Lemak Chickenjoy.

Priced at $5, the Nasi Lemak Chickenjoy sees the classic Jollibee fried chicken paired with coconut rice and sweet sambal. Apart from this highlight, expect their Spicy Chickenjoy, spaghetti and more at their new NEX outlet.

If you can’t get enough of NEX, here is more news to have on your radar.

Also new to the NEX food directory is Beauty In The Pot, which debuts in the mall with unicorn-themed decor and a limited edition Drunken Chicken herbal broth, complete with Moutai baijiu.

Taiwanese toast cafe Fong Sheng Hao will also be opening its second outlet in NEX, though no specific date has been announced yet. Another highly anticipated arrival is Five Guys, who will be bringing their sophomore outlet in Singapore to the Serangoon neighbourhood in 2021.

Yun Nans has also opened its doors at NEX, bringing exclusive dishes to this outlet, including their comforting Steam Pot Chicken Soup.

As for the rest of you living in neighbourhoods free of Jollibee, here’s hoping they arrive to you soon. Facebook comments are rife with calls for Jollibee in the East, so stay tuned.
