Conveyor belt hotpot isn’t a new concept, but Joylion Buffet Hotpot, a new restaurant at Lentor Modern, takes things a step further. Priced from $22.90++ per person, Joylion has a lineup of more than 100 dishes, all cycling through its network of conveyor belts.

As with most hotpot places, the first step is to choose your soup base: options here include Chicken Soup, Mala Butter Pot, Tomato, Tom Yum and more. All diners get an individual hotpot, making it convenient for those dining solo or in small groups.

It would take us all day to discuss the myriad items available here, so let’s focus on a few specialities. For meat dishes, Joylion has your usual beef, pork, and chicken slices, which will never go wrong in a hotpot setting.  You’ll also find seafood options such as prawns, scallops, and crab. You’ll also find options not as commonly found at hotpot restaurants, such as frog legs, bamboo clams, and gong gong.

There are also dumplings and even xiao long bao to enjoy. Netizens have also noted that the dessert section is pretty solid, with fruits, durian pizza, and various cakes available here.

Do note that the price of the buffet varies depending on when you visit: it is $22.90++ for a Weekday Lunch, $32.90++ for Weekday Dinners, and $32.90++ for Weekend.
