Japanese food fans will likely be familiar with Kei Kaisendon, a popular restaurant chain with 20 outlets across Singapore. If you love Japanese don bowls, here’s a deal to bookmark: enjoy a 1-for-1 kaisendon promotion till 23 August 2026! Held in celebration of the brand’s ninth anniversary, the limited-time offer is available at selected outlets islandwide.
There are nine items available as part of the 1-for-1 promotion, all exclusively for takeaway. The most affordable pick is the Signature Kaisendon, priced at just $14.90++ for a small bowl, which works out to $7.45++ per bowl with the deal. Each colourful bowl comes loaded with tuna, salmon, mekajiki, baby scallops, and ikura for a delicious sashimi treat.
If unagi is more your thing, go for the Unagi Kaisendon, usually priced at $21.90++, but available at just $10.95++ with the promotion. The bowl stars a generous slab of grilled unagi and tamago atop a warm bed of Japanese rice, finished with a hint of truffle for an extra touch of aromatic flavour.
We recommend going all out with the deal and opting for the pricier bowls, such as the Bara Hotate & Salmon. Usually priced at $28.90++, the 1-for-1 promotion brings it down to a wallet-friendly $14.45++ per bowl. Expect a vibrant combination of fresh salmon and scallops served over Japanese rice, topped with sesame seeds and wasabi tobiko for textural variety.
Fun fact: one thing that sets Kei Kaisendon apart is its use of premium Sansanmaru rice from Hokkaido. Known for its subtle sweetness and slightly sticky texture, the rice is said to pair especially well with fresh seafood.
Do note that the promotion will roll out across different outlets on selected dates. For example, the deal is currently available at Wheelock Place till 31 May, before moving to VivoCity from 5 to 7 June. We recommend checking the brand’s official website or Instagram page for the full schedule before heading down.
