Kyoto Ramen Hachicken has $0.06 chawanmushi at Chinatown Point

Kyoto Ramen Hachicken, a ramen restaurant that recently opened at Chinatown Point, has rolled out a few exciting promos for the upcoming SG60 celebrations!

The restaurant is known for its $4.90++ chicken ramen, which comes in either a shio or shoyu base, and features ramen noodles, spring onions, chopped red onions, and a few slices of tender chicken.

Enjoy the Fuwa Fuwa Hachicken Chawanmushi, which is usually priced at $3.40, for just $0.06 with an order of ramen. This dine-in only deal will be available from 27 July to 10 August 2025.

Else, grab your parents or grandparents above the age of 60, and head to Kyoto Hachicken Ramen on 9 August 2025 to enjoy 60% off all ramen. Your parents will have to show proof of their age with an ID!

Though the $4.90++ ramen is a great value-for-money deal, we recommend the slightly more substantial Miso Ramen ($10.90++), which we got to try during our visit. This ramen consists of tamago, tender chicken, chicken meatball, chopped onions, and fresh spring onions.

For more bang for your buck, check out our list of cheap hotpot restaurants, including buffets from $18.80++. In other news, check out Yam Mee Fishball Noodles, a popular hawker stall in Kovan and Bedok that attracts long queues daily. They are known for their laksa with thick gravy, mee with housemade fishballs, and more!
