Get LiHO’s New Beauty Bubble Tea At Nine Outlets From 7 November

LiHO’s beauty bubble tea to up your skincare routine

LiHO and local skincare brand, Recherché, have taken the saying “you are what you eat” to another level with their new bubble tea creations: Recherché Whitening Beauty Tea ($6.90) and Recherché Collagen Beauty Tea ($6.90).

Available from 7 November 2019, this range of bubble tea is for both BBT fans searching for the next big drink to take over the iconic brown sugar pearl with milk, and ardent skincare lovers who are looking to level up their skincare routine.

If you hate the tacky feeling of sunscreen on your skin, the Recherché Whitening Beauty Tea is made for you. Freckles are in, sunspots are out. Those with sun-damaged skin like me would appreciate the skin-whitening properties in the drink.

This is not without the help of Recherché’s Skin Brightening Plus, which is an edible skincare active. All these are made even better with antioxidants from lemons and grapefruit—adding a wallop of fresh, citrusy flavours to the light and aromatic Jing Syuan tea. Instead of flavourings, real fruits are used and you can get a tinge of bitterness from the rind or peel of citrus fruits.

While the Recherché Whitening Beauty Tea makes for a refreshing midday pick-me-up, the Recherché Collagen Beauty Tea works better as an after-dinner indulgence. Those who are worried about their wrinkles won’t need to book another facial as the tea’s added Collagen Amino Acid gives you a glo’ up on the go.

According to Recherché’s R&D, their Collagen Amino Acid are molecularly smaller, hence easier to absorb. It also contains restorative properties, which will be helpful when your body winds down after a tiring day of work or school. Other than golden yuzu and grapefruit, Vitagen is also added to help with good gut health.

Edible beauty hacks have reached new heights with this interesting LiHO x Recherché collaboration. These teas will be available in only medium size at $6.90 a pop! It might be on the pricier side, but if it can make up for my lack of skincare—and also be an excuse to grab a bubble tea after lunch—I’ll pay.

To prove you’re the biggest die-hard BBT or skincare fan, add the Recherché beauty teas onto this list of bubble tea food creations, and tick them off after trying them at these nine LiHO outlets from 7 November 2019:

  1. Bugis+
  2. Funan Centre
