When we covered Lok Me Up late last year, the lok lok stall’s $0.60 skewers and free flow of nacho cheese sauce made them a hit amongst our readers. Now, Lok Me Up are celebrating their one-year anniversary, and to mark the occasion, they are offering unlimited servings of a sauce that will likely turn more heads: mentaiko.

From now till June 30, you can savour Lok Me Up’s wide range of skewers with this highly umami sauce.

Skewers in the $0.60 range include King Oyster Mushrooms, Popcorn Chicken and Ngoh Hiang, while those that go for $1.20 comprise Shrimp Gyoza, Seaweed Chicken, Bacon Wrapped Enoki and many more. All skewers are fried to order, so you get to enjoy them at their crispiest.

While mentaiko fans will surely be lapping up as much of the sauce as they can, those who want some variety with the condiments can opt for the three other sauces as well. These include the aforementioned Nacho Cheese, which will give your skewers a cheesy, savoury boost; and the Thai and Garlic Chilli, perfect for adding piquant and spicy flavours to your lok lok.

If you’re looking to have your lok lok feast at home instead, then you can order from Lok Me Up via Grab Food and Foodpanda. Otherwise, you can enjoy all the skewers you want till the wee hours of the night, as the stall closes at 2:30am.
