Luckin Coffee Opens At Tampines 1 With $0.99 Coffee

Famous Luckin Coffee opens at Tampines 1

Luckin Coffee, the Starbucks equivalent in China, opened their first SG store in Marina Square in March 2023. Barely two months later, the famous coffee chain is back with a brand new outlet in the East, at Tampines 1.

Their most popular drink is the Coconut Latte ($6.40)—reportedly, over 300 million cups of this have been sold! The creamy beverage blends cold-pressed coconut milk with fresh espresso for a refreshing pick-me-up on a hot day.

New on the menu is the Fruity Americano Series, which stars two flavours: Iced Coconut Americano and Iced Pomelo Americano. The former pairs premium Yirgacheffe coffee beans with coconut water for a cooling drink that’s perfect as a midday treat, while the latter features tangy pomelo juice.

Additionally, on 20 May, there’ll be another new drink to look forward to: the Dark Brown Sugar Macchiato Exfreezo comes with Okinawa dark brown sugar and rich milk, blended with coffee.

The new East side store is on the ground floor of Tampines 1. There are a few seats for you to chope while waiting for your drink, but be prepared to face a sizeable crowd during the rush hours in the evening.

Don’t miss out on their opening promotion, too! Your first coffee order on the Luckin Coffee app will set you back $0.99.

If Tampines is too far for you, Luckin Coffee has also opened a new takeaway kiosk at CityLink in City Hall, so you can drop by for your caffeine fix if you work in the area. Otherwise, head to their other outlets in Aperia Mall, Ngee Ann City, and Guoco Tower.

For more food in the hood, walk over to Bazaar Lambak right outside Tampines MRT Station for halal street food. Otherwise, read our guide to the best hawker food in Tampines for cheap min jiang kueh, old-school desserts and more.

Address: 10 Tampines Central, #01-17/18, Tampines 1, Singapore 529536
