The CBD has just become more exciting, with M Hotel Singapore launching their first-ever halal dim sum buffet! Priced at just $38++ a diner, and $19++ a child, this buffet comes with more than 20 different items on the menu, covering dim sum, carbs, and even kueh for dessert.

Running each week from Thursday to Sunday at lunch, the Jom Dim Sum Buffet claims to be the first halal dim sum buffet in the city centre, with buffet hours running from 12pm to 2:30pm—working out to two-and-a-half hours for you to indulge in everything they’ve got to offer. Plus, if you’re here in a group of four or more, you’ll get to enjoy 10% off the bill!

Start with some Poached Chicken or Wanton Tossed in Hot and Sour Vinegar and Chilli Oil, which you might otherwise know as ćŁæ°ŽéžĄ (kǒu shuǐ jÄ«) and çșąæČ迊„手 (hĂłng yoĂș chāo shǒu) respectively.

Where you’d typically find the roast station at buffets, here at M Hotel Singapore’s dim sum buffet, you’ll get Roast Chicken, served alongside chicken rice and all its usual trimmings. The highlight, of course, is the dim sum selection. Think Chicken Siew Mai, Chicken Char Siew Pau, Shrimp Dumplings and more.

‘Gram-worthy dishes that you can look out for are Charcoal Golden Sand Bun and Lotus Bunny Bun, the second of which is bound to be a hit with kids. Don’t forget the Shanghai Dumpling and Glutinous Rice with Chicken, both of which are dim sum staples that are on the menu here too. Besides dim sum, the menu also stars Chef’s Singapore Laksa, just in case you needed a hit of the lemak delight.

That’s not all—there’s also Prawn Paste Chicken Wing, Mamak-style Mee Goreng, Fried Carrot Cake with Sambal and more, before you end with a selection of desserts, including D24 Durian Mochi and Ondeh Ondeh Cake!

For more halal-friendly meal ideas, check out Elfuego at Jewel Changi Airport, for Singapore’s first halal omakase! Alternatively, our list of dim sum places in Singapore includes halal options too.
