10 Restaurant Discounts You Can Get With Your Maybank Card In July

Maybank dining discounts across Singapore

Now that we’re officially adulting, important meals can no longer be held at Macs or the kopitiam below your house. But that doesn’t mean we have to increase our budget tenfold. With these discounts for Maybank Cardmembers, you can treat the special people in your life to a meal at these fancy restaurants – without the damage. These restaurants offer sumptuous Asian meals, so definitely bookmark this article for times your folks ask you for family dinner suggestions!

1. Triple Three (Mandarin Orchard Singapore)

With chefs carving out tantalising pieces of meat and sashimi, or conjuring up impressive flames, Triple Three provides a feast for your eyes as well as your tummy. Starting from just $78++ for lunches every Monday to Saturday, the spread here ranges from naan to pasta to seafood on ice, and each dish is served freshly sliced, roasted or chilled at various stations.

Since it’s located at Orchard Road, this restaurant’s pretty easy to get to. Just don’t forget to bring a Maybank Card along for your lunch date, because from now till 30 Sept 2018, that’ll score you a 1-for-1 during the lunch buffet, or 50% off the second adult diner during dinner hours.

2. Paradise Teochew

Paradise Teochew at Scotts Square gets pretty crowded even during weekday lunches, thanks to their authentic Teochew cuisine. We decided to try some of their newly minted National Day creations, such as Braised Pork Belly In Imperial Sauce ($38.80++), which came with steamed house-made mantou to dip in the tangy and immensely addictive sauce.

Other new dishes to look out for include the fleshy Steamed Live Prawn and Egg White with Goji Berries ($12.80++), and the chewy Teochew Style Sweet Yam Pastry ($8.80++). The best part is, Maybank Cardmembers will enjoy 53% off these dishes till 17 August 2018!

3. Bangkok Jam

Bangkok Jam at Bugis+ looks a little different from the rest of their outlets. The neon lights and colourful wallpaper give off strong hipster cafe vibes, and aside from the usual spread of Thai fare, the menu here includes a good selection of tempting desserts too.

The Fried Prata ($7.90++) and Durian Sticky Rice ($9.90++) both came in portions big enough to share among groups of two or three. We also tried Green with Envy ($9.90++), an IG-worthy bingsu made from green milk tea. It refused to melt even after all of our obligatory Instagram shots, and each mouthful was a delightfully sweet mix of flavours. This bingsu is only available at Bangkok Jam’s Bugis+ outlet, so be sure to head on down for a taste. With a Maybank Card, all of the desserts at Bangkok Jam’s outlets are 1-for-1 till 30 Sept 2018.

4. The Salon (Hotel Fort Canning)

Tucked away on the top of Fort Canning Hill, The Salon is a classy restaurant inside Hotel Fort Canning that serves Western cuisine, as well as a selection of local classics. But their versions of our Singaporean favourites have been zhng-ed with extra goodies, like Singapore Laksa ($16++) that comes with fleshy prawns soaked in a zesty broth.

This makes a good spot for a romantic date, ‘cause you can enjoy a stroll down the hill with bae right after, or even check out the museums nearby. What’s more, if you have a Maybank Card, you can catch a 15% discount off the local favourites till 30 Sept 2018!

6. Sessions

Prepare to be crab-tivated by the menu at Sessions. They have a good selection of seafood, but the real stars at this restaurant have got to be their Red Chilli Crab ($58++) and Black Pepper Crab ($58++).

This 3-in-1 dining location at Hard Rock® Hotel Singapore combines a patisserie, a restaurant, and a cooking studio, making this where you’d want to bring visiting relatives to. Instead of letting them sweat it out at a zi char stall, let them enjoy Singapore’s famous crab dishes in a comfortable and sophisticated spot. Maybank Cardmembers can indulge themselves further with 50% off their second crab dish, from now till 30 Sept 2018.

The restaurant has both a la carte as well as set menus that allow you to try more dishes. The latter is something Maybank Cardmembers should definitely go for, because from now till 30 Sept 2018, all Maybank Cardmembers get 50% off every second set meal ordered!

Look forward to their new afternoon tea menu that will be available from 23 July onwards. It’ll include highlights such as Lobster Roll with Pickled Onion, Potted Chilli Crab with Sambal Lavosh and “Sampan” Beef Pie.

I’d recommend trying their fragrant Colony Tea, which can be customised with lavender or ginger syrup. But if that’s not your cup of tea, each set also comes with a complimentary flute of champagne, or a specialty cocktail of your choice including the lemongrass and pineapple Prosecco, or pineapple and raspberry Prosecco.
