The very first Michelin Guide Bangkok has been released. The results include 17 restaurants and one street food stall (pictured above), all of which have been awarded one and two Michelin stars. Though no three Michelin stars were announced, this is a clear nod of recognition towards the rich vibrancy of Bangkok’s culinary scene.

It’s absolutely thrilling that this list embraces traditional and international cuisines and expands the Michelin guide into more of Asia, especially since Bangkok is a popular holiday getaway for us Singaporeans.
