Tanjong Pagar is a treasure trove of hidden food gems, from cool cafes and restaurants to lesser-known hawker stalls. Another spot to add to the list is Muyun, a new cafe at Tanjong Pagar Plaza that sports glamping-themed interiors.

The cafe is decked in warm, neutral tones for a relaxed and inviting vibe. Dimmed lights, camping chairs, and pebbled flooring add to its charm.

Tuck into their freshly made Original Waffles ($5.50), which you can zhng up with add-ons such as Fruit ($1.50), Ice Cream ($1.50), and Yogurt ($1.50). For a good mix of everything, order their All Waffle ($9.90), which includes all three toppings.

If you’re not in the mood for waffles, consider their Honey Butter Toast ($2.90) or Garlic Cheese Toast ($3.90) instead.

Otherwise, their Low-Fat Oatmeal Bowl with Fruits ($6.90) is a light and healthy pick-me-up for any time of the day.

Wash it all down with a cup of joe; Muyun offers regular cafe-style coffee: think Americano ($4.80), Cappuccino ($5.80), and Mocha ($6.80).

They also offer interesting options such as Special Latte ($5.80), which looks similar to a dirty coffee: double shot espresso poured directly into cold milk.

Should you prefer tea to coffee, check out their lineup of Chinese teas, such as Wu Long Tie Guan Yin (from $5.50) and Xi Hu Long Jing (from $6.80).
