Get Whole Sourdough Pizzas From $7.90 At This Funan Pizzeria

Now Pizza has affordable sourdough pizzas from $7.90

Funan is home to many affordable dining gems: think Ajumma’s, the popular Korean restaurant, or Legendary Hong Kong, which has $1.80++ bolo buns. Adding to the line-up is Now Pizza, a new eatery selling handmade sourdough pizzas under $15.

Here, you’re able to get traditional pizza flavours such as Margherita ($7.90), Tandoori Chicken ($9.90), and Meat Fiesta ($10.90). Prices are affordable despite the eatery being near the CBD area. Now Pizza also offers a variety of sides such as garlic bread and chicken tenders from $3.90 to zhng up your meal!

Another unique thing about Now Pizza: it only takes them 90 seconds to bake the whole pizza! This is perfect for office workers who may be in a rush as you can grab these pizzas in a jiffy. Rest assured that this does not compromise the quality of the pizza, as those we tried were cooked perfectly.

My personal favourite is the Truffle Mushroom Pizza ($10.90). Bechamel sauce and mozzarella cheese are added and spread evenly on the dough base, before the pizza is topped  off with mushrooms and onions. Truffle oil is also drizzled on the pizza before packing it.

The creaminess of the bechamel sauce was not too overpowering, and I enjoyed how the earthiness of the mushrooms complemented the milkiness of the cheese. However, I felt the truffle oil was too subtle as I could barely taste it, but I still found myself going back after each bite.

My colleague’s recommendation is the Tandoori Chicken ($9.90). Served on a pomodoro base, this pizza came with mozzarella cheese, chicken tikka, red onions, and sliced jalapenos. The tandoori chicken was tender and well-marinated, and the sliced jalapenos provided a sour and spicy kick each bite. If you’re a fan of spicy food, try this flavour out.

Now Pizza also has a Flavourful Bundle set, with prices starting from $10.90. Each Bundle comes with a pizza and a drink of your preference, a great option to satisfy your hunger!

Now Pizza is located at Basement 2 of Funan. While they do not have a dine-in space for customers, you can enjoy your food at the mall’s communal dining area just a short walk away!
