The recent coronavirus, also known as 2019-nCov, has placed a great strain on medical staff in Singapore and around the world. Besides working around the clock to help the sick, doctors and nurses are also putting themselves at high risk of infection. To recognise the sacrifices made by these valiant heroes, Old Chang Kee will be giving out free curry puffs to a majority of medical staff in Singapore. Aside from the store’s signature curry puff, their Chicken Mushroom’O and Sardine’O will also be available.

While there have been some reports of individuals taking advantage of the virus scare by overcharging surgical masks and such, it’s also heartening to see that companies are playing their part in fighting against the coronavirus.

As always, it’s always important to maintain personal hygiene by washing your hands with soap and to wear a mask when feeling sick. Be sure to check out our triple Milo crepe cake recipe if you prefer to stay at home and spend the day whipping up a delicious milo-flavoured cake instead!
