There are perks to living in the East, especially with the multitude of cheap restaurants and brunch cafes in the area. Here’s another reason that may win you over: Pasir Ris Mall has just opened its doors with over 150 shops, including 60 eateries. The new mall is also a convenient four-minute walk from Pasir Ris MRT Station!

Do note that Pasir Ris Mall is still in its soft launch phase, which means some stores have yet to open their doors. If there’s a vendor you’d like to visit, check in with them before making a trip down.

One highly anticipated entry is Tim Horton’s, who’ll be setting up their first East-side outlet on Level 2 of the mall. The Canadian coffeehouse is most famous for their delicious doughnuts, priced from $2.90 for the Classic Glaze flavour.

There’s also a Boston Cream ($3.50) doughnut, packed with luscious custard and coated in dark chocolate.

If ang moh coffee isn’t up your alley, you can la kopi at The Hainan Story Coffee House at Basement 2. Pair your cup of joe with their Pandan Waffles (from $1.80), which you can have with sweet or savoury toppings.

Luckin Coffee fans are in luck too, as the famous Chinese coffee chain will have a store at Basement 1 of the mall! The brand recently launched their Black Cup series, which features premium coffee beans approved by award-winning baristas.

For a light bite or quick meal, head to Genki Sushi at Basement 1, where you’ll find a wide assortment of wallet-friendly sushi and sides. Don’t miss out on their 1-for-1 deals, too.

That’s not all: you’ll also find other popular eateries including Yakiniku Like, Jollibee, as well as sauerkraut fish specialty store Tai Er!

FYI: the mall opens from 6am to 12am daily, which means you can get your early brekkie or supper fix here.
