2019’s durian season is on overdrive, with countless of durian buffets popping up around town. While most are priced above $20, this durian buffet at Plaza Singapura is exceptionally cheap at $4.50 only!
Happening from 21 to 23 June 2019, the buffet will be held at the mall’s Outdoor Front Plaza on level 1, to ensure the pungent smell of durians don’t fill up the shopping mall. Each durian lovin’ folk will only get 45 minutes to eat their fill, which is honestly still a good catch, as you only need to fork out less than $5.
Durians you can expect include the rich and creamy D24, Mao Shan Wang and D101. Depending on the durians’ availability, there might be more variants served, so we are hoping to find some Black Pearl there too.
To get in on this durian buffet, you will need to spend a minimum of $45 in a single receipt at Plaza Singapura to purchase a single ticket. You will also only be able to purchase two tickets a day, so your friends have to join the queue with you.
Unlike the Bedok durian buffet where kids under 12 years old dine for free, children aged one and above will require a ticket to enter. There are also time slots to choose from, which you can select when purchasing the ticket at the venue itself.
As with all buffets, leftovers will be chargeable to ensure there won’t be any food wastage.
The ticket booths are already open, from 11am to 9pm every day, so you can head there now to cinch yourself a ticket!
