These buns are not new, but have recently been making waves on social media again. Each is priced at $3.50, and comes with an adorable top bun in the shape of a piglet’s face.

As for fillings, you can choose from a marinated pork chop, homely ham and egg, or a crispy fried chicken fillet.

The pork is definitely the signature here. The chop’s marinade is close to bak kwa, so each bite is full of sweet, smoky, meaty goodness.

Accompanying the meat is a generous slathering of mayonnaise, cheese, and chilli sauce, but you can opt-out for the latter if you’re spice-adverse.

The store where you can get this adorable treat is located just next to the Hainanese curry rice store, within the same coffee house.

Apart from enjoying the pork chop buns on their own, you can also add on $1.50 to enjoy them with soft-boiled eggs, and your hot beverage of choice, whether kopi or teh. The addition is truly affordable, and turns your snack into a full-fledged breakfast.

If you’re in the Hougang area, and still peckish after your trip to Seng Huat Coffee House, we have plenty of other food options for you to explore too! Check out our Hougang food reviews below:
