This Hidden Cafe In Bugis Has Ferrero Rocher Drinks, Charcoal Waffles And More

Rumi The Poet’s Cup is a chill cafe on Haji Lane

If you’re looking for a fun cafe with interesting food and drinks, be sure to check out Rumi The Poet’s Cup! You can find this stylish cafe along Haji Lane.

While this Muslim-owned cafe specialises in artisanal drinks, they also have some tasty desserts on their menu such as brownies, ice cream, and waffles. There are also plenty of card games and board games here for you to enjoy with your friends.

A must-try here is the signature Salted Caramel Macchiato ($8), a drink that’s milky, sweet, and creamy, with hints of salt and coffee.

Chocoholics will love the Hazel Rocher ($8) ice-blended drink, a thick and chocolatey drink that resembles the taste of Ferrero Rocher chocolate. It’s also topped with whipped cream for added indulgence. They’ve also got other interesting flavours such as Rumidemia ($9), a macadamia ice-blended drink, and the Rumi Teh Tarik ($8), which is an ice-blended version of teh tarik.

If the previous beverages have got you asking “to drink or not to drink”, then perhaps the Shakespeare High Tea ($7) would interest you. This drink is great for those who prefer something refreshing, as its apple and mint tea infusion is light and easy on the palate.

As for desserts, we recommend going for the Art of Mason ($12) waffles, which feature two scoops of chocolate and vanilla ice cream, Kinder Bueno bars, and a caramel drizzle on top of their signature buttery waffles. There’s also an option to have charcoal waffles too.
