Sakedokoro Eizaburo Has 1-For-1 XL Japanese Don In Somerset Till 2 May

Sakedokoro Eizaburo has 1-for-1 don in Somerset till 2 May

ICYMI, Sakedokoro Eizaburo is a relatively new Japanese restaurant that opened at Fortune Centre with affordable XL Japanese don. They recently opened a second outlet at Cuppage Plaza in Somerset, and have rolled out a 1-for-1 lunch deal on all items till 2 May 2025! The promo takes place on weekdays from 12pm to 2:30pm.

Note that a minimum of two persons is needed to redeem the 1-for-1 lunch deals. If you can’t make it during lunch, they’re having a 30% off dinner promotion for all food and drinks from now till 3 May.

For the best 1-for-1 experience, we recommend the Mega Katsu Curry Rice ($22.40++) and the Regular Fujiyama Kaisen Don ($16.90++), both of which are only served during lunch. The former sees two thick cuts of meaty katsu laid atop Japanese rice, with rich Japanese curry on the side. If you do the math, each person only has to pay $11.20++ and $8.45++, respectively.

The Regular Fujiyama Kaisen Don, on the other hand, is a delicious seafood rice bowl featuring vibrant ingredients such as crab meat, ikura, diced salmon, seabass sashimi and more. Each bite creates a melody of fresh seafood flavours.

Make use of the 1-for-1 promo and opt for the pricier Premium Fujiyama Kaisen Don ($28.90++), which comes with the same ingredients as its regular counterpart but with a side of uni. Each diner only has to pay $14.45++ to enjoy this!

The cheapest option on the menu is the Chicken Karaage Curry ($7.90++), which works out to be only $3.95++ per person with the ongoing lunch deal.

Pair your mains with Calpis ($2.40++), a popular Japanese drink made using fermented milk and sugar.

If you’re visiting during dinner, opt for the Omakase 5 Yakitori ($12.90++), a surprise selection of smoky grilled skewers. Otherwise, the restaurant also serves up affordable mains under $10, such as the Korobuta Pork Loin Steak, Wagyu Hanger Steak, and Wagyu Dice Steak, all priced at $9.80++ each.

The outlet at Cuppage Plaza seems to be of similar size to the OG one at Fortune Centre, boasting a cosy space with limited seats. We recommend coming earlier to beat the queue and enjoy the promo before it ends.

Cuppage Plaza is a short four-minute walk from Somerset MRT Station.
