Small Batch: New Cafe With Bali Vibes And DIY Brunch Boards In Botanic Gardens

Small Batch is a new brunch cafe at Botanic Gardens

If you’re looking for a brunch spot with immaculate vibes that remind you of Bali, check out Small Batch, a new cafe the Botanic Gardens! This cafe is brought to you by The Black Hole Group, who are behind the likes of Tipo Pasta Bar and The Great Mischief.

The star of the show here is definitely the Build-Your-Own-Board (BYOB), which lets you create your own brunch platter of sorts. Prices start from $15.90++ for three items and $24.90++ for five items. You can add additional items for $4.90++. These include fresh bakes, greens, cheese and more.

Those who love seafood should opt for the Smoked Salmon, which is served with asparagus, vinaigrette, and chives. We recommend pairing this with your choice of bread as the smoked salmon is rather salty.

The Chicken Sausage is also an item you must add to your board. It is served with house-made chilli jam and pickles, both of which provides a slightly tangy kick that complements the savoury chicken sausage.

Besides the BYOB option, Small Batch also has brunch options such as Beef Bolognese Rigatoni ($18++). Some other menu items include the Classic Burger ($18++), and Citrus Superfood Salad ($16++), to name a few.

Pasta fans would enjoy the aforementioned pasta dish, thanks to the rich cheese and beef bolognese sauce that evenly coats the pasta.

Try the Tropical Acai ($9++) or the Going Green ($7++) for something to refresh you on a hot day! The former has a strong berry flavour while the latter is a good palate cleanser if you want something light!

Small Batch exudes tropical, rustic vibes, making you feel as though you’re in a Bali villa. There are ample seating options, allowing customers to come in up to groups of eight. So if you and your friends are cafe hoppers, be sure to make this your next destination!
