BKK-Famous Acai Cafe Opens In SG With Viral Pistachio Butter And Biscoff Yoghurt

Soft Spot is a new acai soft serve store in Joo Chiat

From now on, acai lovers don’t need to make the pilgrimage to Bangkok to visit Soft Spot, a viral acai soft serve store that has made its first international debut here in Singapore!

Soft Spot boasts a pure Brazilian acai blend that contains zero sugar, preservatives, and additives, as well as a collection of sauces fully made in-house (except for their honey). What results are acai and toppings that are less sweet and sinful, yet not compromising in richness of flavours.

They also offer a Biscoff-infused Greek yoghurt blend, combining the popular caramel biscuit with Greek yoghurt imported directly from Italy.

Soft Spot’s signature creations come in three sizes: Medium ($9.40), Bowl ($11), and Large Bowl ($14). You can pick your soft serve base, which includes acai, Biscoff Greek froyo, or a swirl, which fuses the two.

By far their most popular creation, which even went viral in Bangkok, is their Softspot For Love, coming with an indulgent drizzle of pistachio butter, strawberries, almond flakes, and their homemade granola base. We suggest eating it fresh, for the sauce hardens shortly after being exposed to the cold soft serve.

As Biscoff fans, we also enjoyed their Softspot For Cookies considerably, which includes a drizzle of Biscoff butter, Biscoff and Digestive crumbs, strawberries, and granola. Unsurprisingly, it went very well with the Biscoff Greek yoghurt as a soft serve base.

Other signatures include the Softspot For Fruits, topped with a variety of seasonal fruits, and Softspot For Chocolate, featuring a rich 70.5% dark chocolate sauce and bananas.

You can also customise your own bowls here, coming in five sizes, including Baby ($5.50) and Small ($7.90), alongside the aforementioned larger sizes. Pro tip: try out their winning combination of Salted Cashew Butter and Pistachio Feulletine Crunch

Seasonal offerings exclusive to Soft Spot Singapore will also be available for a limited time, such as the Dubai-chocolate-inspired Turkish Dream ($11.50)

Topped with their signature pistachio sauce, pistachio feulletine crunch, burnt butter honey-glazed kataifi (shredded phyllo dough used in kunafa), and whipped cream, this was pure pistachio decadence, with each bite nutty and delightfully crunchy.

Soft Spot’s Singapore outlet is located at the mixed-development condominium complex Sycamore Tree along Joo Chiat Road. It is a 10-minute walk from Marine Parade MRT Station
