SoupCup Opens New Kiosk At Suntec With Fish Soup In A Cup By MasterChef Finalist

If you are a fish soup connoisseur, perhaps SoupCup would sound familiar to you. The fish soup kiosk, helmed by MasterChef Singapore finalist Sharon Gonzago, has opened their second outlet at Suntec City!

This kiosk offers fish soup served in a cup for easy drinking when you are on the go. Their collagen soup is also said to contain no MSG, ideal as a healthy meal option for your lunch break. 

The Piccolo ($4) is a great way to try their signature fish soup-in-a-cup. According to the brand, this handy cup is designed to be good for consumption while you’re walking or driving as it can fit into the standard mug holders in a car. It also comes with two free pieces of fried beancurd rolls for dipping. 

The last time we went to their first location in Raffles Quay, we tried their Signature Seafood Soup ($14) and loved that they were so generous with their ingredients! The soup was filled with slices of grouper fish, clams, prawns, squid, and minced pork. It’s also available at this new Suntec outlet.

You can zhng up your meal with more toppings too. Adding more Grouper Fish Slices will cost an extra $3.50. And if grouper is not enough, you can add Batang Fish Slices ($2.50), Pomfret Fish Slices ($3) or even Japanese Scallops ($3.50). 

We also loved the fish soup, which boasted a sweetness from the seafood and meat! The owner told us that the broth was slow-boiled for eight hours before serving to bring out its umami goodness. For $1 you can also get Thick Bee Hoon or Furikake Rice if you need a vessel to soak up the soup’s flavours. 

Else, try the Signature Seafood Paofan ($14.50) which has the same ingredients as the signature seafood soup, except with white rice and crispy rice added to it.  

Don’t miss out on their house-made chilli sauce, too. This chilli dip is super spicy but is sure to bring an extra layer of brightness to your fish.
