It’s monsoon season, so it’s time for a steamboat or BBQ buffet—for a good price! One place you can get a bang-for-your-buck buffet is Super Steamboat Restaurant, a Johor Bahru restaurant located a 20-minute drive away from the JB checkpoint.

For just RM59++/ ~S$20++, you can feast on all the BBQ and steamboat dishes you could possibly want. If you’re a senior citizen aged 55 and above, the buffet price would be RM48++/ ~S$15++, while children pay any amount between RM0 and RM25++/ S$8++, depending on their height.

The restaurant’s menu includes a wide range of dishes, from their buffet items to cooked mains and desserts. Their buffet-style items include meats, fresh seafood, vegetables, and a large variety of other hotpot ingredients.

Specifically for seafood, Super Steamboat Restaurant also offers “premium” options such as scallops, flower crabs, crayfish, razor clams, lala, squid, and even freshly shucked raw oysters. As the cherry on top, all soup bases, condiments, sides, drinks, and desserts are complimentary.

The restaurant also has an equally mouth-watering selection of desserts. Apart from the usuals such as bingsu, they also have DIY ice cream waffles!
