Absolut Food Festival: Popular Malaysian Fair To Launch In Kallang For 3 Days

Absolut Food Festival is coming to Kallang from 16 to 18 August

If you love a good food fair, pen down these dates: 16 August to 18 August 2024. Absolut Food Festival will run at the open carpark in Kallang, near the National Stadium, for those three days!

The popular food fair, which hails from Malaysia, recently announced their launch in Singapore on their Instagram page. There will be over 130 booths in total, including food and retail brands from Malaysia and Singapore. The festival will run from till 12am on all three days, so you can drop by for your supper fix.

Check out their video above for the full scoop on what to expect during the fair.

Local fries company Frites, which has a takeaway kiosk in Bugis, will make its appearance at the food fair. Look forward to loaded beef fries topped with copious amounts of sauces, including mentaiko and nacho cheese.

The Padangton, also located in Bugis, is another highlight of the festival. The eatery is best known for their Lamb Shank Rendang Padangton, a unique take on the classic Beef Wellington. According to a comment on Absolut Food Festival’s Instagram post, one can expect Padangton’s tacos to be available at the upcoming fair!

There’s also the quintessential takoyaki, a must-have at any food fair!

If you’re feeling thirsty, you’ll be happy to know that Rumi the Poet’s Cup has a kiosk at the Absolut Food Festival too. We’re hoping that their Hazel Rocher, an ice-blended beverage that resembles Ferrero Rocher chocolate, will be on the menu.

IG-famous Malaysian cake shop Absolut Chocolat is also part of the lineup. The brand is most famous for their “pour-it-yourself” cakes, in eye-catching flavours such as Charcoal Salted Egg.
