Swish Rolls Has New Mochi Croissant Egg Tart And Famous Cream Croissants In Paragon

Swish Rolls has a new pop-up at Paragon

Just when we thought the TikTok-viral cream croissant trend has potentially ended, Swish Rolls enters the scene with yet another innovative concept: Mochi Croissant Egg Tart.

The local bakery, which rose to fame for being the first in Singapore to offer the NYC-inspired cream croissants, is having a pop-up at Paragon from now till 24 May 2023.

Fans can look forward to new items on the bakery’s lineup, including the Original Croissant Egg Tart and Mochi Croissant Egg Tart, both affordably priced at $2 (U.P. $2.50) each for the pop-up duration. Do note that this promotional price is limited to a maximum of six pieces per buyer.

This fusion pastry comprises a flaky, buttery croissant bottom, packed with a rich and creamy egg custard filling. The mochi version comes with a thin layer of soft and stretchy mochi for textural contrast.

The Croissant Tart series is another new addition to the menu. There’s the breakfast-worthy Croque Madame ($7.50), consisting of turkey ham, cheese, and a sunny-side up. Another savoury pick is the Caprese Croissant Tart ($7.50), which combines stretchy mozzarella, sweet tomatoes, and punchy basil leaves.

Otherwise, go for the IG-worthy Pistachio Lemon Croissant Tart ($6.80) that’s piped with a rich and nutty pistachio cream filling.

If all that isn’t enough, their new Garlic Cream Cheese Shio Pan ($4) will fill you up nicely. Those who love Swish Roll’s cream croissants, AKA Croons ($6.20), can also choose from three popular flavours here: Biscoff, Pistachio, and Dark Chocolate.

Do note that the new bakes are only available at this Paragon pop-up from now till 24 May.
