Tajimaya Yakiniku Has 1-For-1 Wagyu Buffets From 16 to 31 March 2020

1-for-1 wagyu buffets at Tajimaya Yakiniku

It’s a good week to gorge on buffets. Hot on the heels of Suki-Ya’s 1-for-1 promo, Tajimaya Yakiniku is offering a similar deal of their own. Only this time, it involves the Holy Grail of beef: Wagyu.

From 16 to 31 March 2020, the Japanese restaurant will be offering a 1-for-1 deal for their Premium Wagyu Buffet (U.P. from $49.90++) on Mondays, and 2-for-2 on Tuesdays. This means you and your buddies can guzzle on their range of Wagyu beef, sashimi, and gyoza from just $25++ per person! Bear in mind, we’re talking legit Wagyu here.

We got a chance to try this exact buffet during one of our past shoots, and were impressed by their well-marbled Wagyu strips which sported beautiful streaks of fat. Other meats you can load up on include kimchi pork belly, Iberico pork collar, and smoked duck. All these will be grilled over charcoal, giving them a nice tinge of smokiness.

Fans of seafood will be pleased to know that the spread includes three types of sashimi, alongside fresh salmon and scallops. Check out this menu to see the full list of items you’ll be getting with the Premium Wagyu Buffet—calling it “a steal” would be an understatement.

As with most buffets, different prices apply for lunch and dinner—with the latter option costing $59.90++ for two people. Each session has a time limit of 60 minutes, so you’d be wise to ease up on the chatter, and just keep stacking plates of meat.

The buffet comes with free-flow soft drinks, but those looking for an extra buzz can top up $15++ for free-flow bottled booze.

So if you’re gunning to indulge in luxe beef at crazy affordable prices, make a date to VivoCity for a makan sesh at Tajimaya Yakiniku. For more affordable charcoal-grilled meat, check out Flaming Don at Bugis+!
