Takashimaya Food Fiesta Returns With Over 55 Stalls—Sanrio Macarons, Wagyu Bento And More

Takashimaya Food Fiesta 2025 runs till 7 July

If you’re too broke to travel on your next holiday, not to worry. From now till 7 July 2025, visit Takashimaya’s Food Fiesta 2025 at Takashimaya Square Basement 2 to feast your way around the world—all without needing to book a flight. From Japanese to Thai cuisine, there are plenty of savoury meals and sweet desserts to enjoy!

At Sugar Smith, you get to meet a bunch of Sanrio characters in the form of adorable macarons. Choose between their vanillacaramel Hello Kitty Macaron ($7) and strawberrylemon My Melody Macaron ($7.50), or their crowd-favourites Cinnamonroll Macaron ($6.50) and Kuromi Macaron ($7.50). You can also get a box of four for $28, where you can enjoy one macaron for free.

Another must-try is their unique Creme Brulee Macaron ($4): savoury cream cheese filling finished with a crisp layer of caramelised sugar.

You may have heard of Sugar Mama Lah, where you can get their popular Pistachio Kunafa Chio Tiramisu ($13.90). For something new, try their Ondeh Ondeh Chio Tiramisu ($12.90). Enjoy its pandan-infused cream paired with layers of sweet gula melaka and soft, shredded coconut, topped off with roasted coconut flakes!

Another must-try is their Creme Brulee Swee Souffle ($11.90), starring a custardy base that’s light and airy in texture.

Moving on to savouries, visit Niku Master for tasty Wagyu bento. You can’t go wrong with their Beef Omelette Rice ($14), which includes Japanese rice wrapped in a fluffy egg omelette and tender chunks of smoky Wagyu slathered with thick Japanese curry.

There’s also a display of raw meats specially air-flown from Japan, including A5 Shabu Shabu Slices 200g ($58) and Wagyu Kiriotoshi 250g ($29), available for takeaway! Alternatively, the raw meat can be cooked and eaten at the spot upon request.

For a midday snack, stop by BANANA for their Fried Thai Banana ($7.50 for eight pieces). Many love this crispy snack topped with aromatic sesame seeds.

Alternatively, opt for their Fried Pineapple ($7.50 for five pieces), which was refreshing with sweet-tangy pineapple juices within.

Korea’s just around the corner with So Good K. Apart from meeting the hunky Physical 100 star Kim Kyung Jin, you can taste his fresh harvests such as Korean Haenam Super Sweet Corn

At $12 each, choose between four flavours: Cheese Corn, Buldak Corn, Honey Butter Corn, and Bburinkle Corn.

Thereafter, cool down with their light Jeju Hallabong Yogurt Ice Cream ($7.80).
