The Feather Blade Has $5++ Steaks And Highballs For One Day Only

The Feather Blade is offering $5++ steaks on 18 March

18 March 2024 is the date to remember for steak lovers everywhere! Popular steakhouse The Feather Blade is celebrating their fifth anniversary with $5++ steaks and highballs for one day only. This special promotion is available at their Tanjong Pagar flagship from 6pm to 10pm and at their East Coast outlet from 5:30pm to 10pm.

Be prepared to queue as the promotion is only valid for dinner walk-ins! Do note that the deal is also limited to one redemption per person.

The Feather Blade first debuted as a pop-up at Ann Siang Hill and became an instant hit with their free steak giveaway. Their immense popularity led them to open a brick-and-mortar at the same spot within a month, before eventually relocating to a more upscale spot in Tanjong Pagar.

If you’re wondering what makes The Feather Blade’s steaks so sought after, it’s the fact that they use succulent cuts made from “feather blade” or “flat-iron” steak, a cut popularised by London’s renowned steakhouse, Flat Iron. Often likened to the classic tenderloin cut, this steak is loved for its lean texture and rich, beefy taste.

You can savour your steak with two out of four sauces: Wasabi Cream, Truffle Mushroom, Sichuan Peppercorn, and Béarnaise: butter, egg yolk, white wine vinegar, and herbs.

If you can’t make it on 18 March, here’s another anniversary special to look forward to: the steakhouse is also teaming up with Chef Kenjiro “Hatch” Hashida from the Michelin-recommended omakase restaurant, Hashida Singapore. This collaboration introduces two limited-time dishes available throughout March, each exclusive to a specific Feather Blade outlet.

Patrons of the Tanjong Pagar outlet can treat themselves to the Ebi Katsu Burger ($34++), featuring a golden-fried ebi patty complemented by Hashida’s umami golden egg tartare sauce, along with aromatic shiso leaves, crunchy daikon radish, and lettuce.

Over in East Coast, these same ingredients come together in the form of the Ebi Katsu Sando ($34++), which swaps out the fluffy burger buns for buttery Japanese milk bread buns.
