The Seletar Mall’s Food Festival Is Back With Fun Foodie Activities And Lucky Draw

The Seletar Mall Food Festival 2022

Calling all those who live in the North-East: If you’re looking for something fun to do with your loved ones this month from 15 July to 14 August, The Seletar Mall’s one-of-a-kind Food Festival is finally back!

The Food Festival is split into three different, noteworthy activations. First up are the Food Connection activities in the atrium, which offer family-friendly fun from 22 July to 5 August.

Shoppers get to enter the festival once they spend a minimum of $40 in a single same-day receipt, at any store or dining establishment in the mall. Each $40 receipt entitles one person to enter the atrium, but if you’re an S3 Rewards member, you get two entry passes for the same spend. Terms and conditions apply.

Once in the atrium, participants get to try out four different stations, all themed around sweets.

The first station lets you customise a food container with a personal engraving, whether it be your name or a text that means something to you. You can take these food containers home to use, or gift them to someone special!

Those familiar with the mai ya tang (malt candy) from street sellers in the past can enjoy a new high-tech spin on the nostalgic treat, thanks to the 3D-printed malt candy booth.

The stall offers a variety of malt candy designs, from floral to butterflies, to other intricate designs. Patrons can choose their preferred design and watch as their malt candy is 3D printed accordingly.

More custom sweets await at Food Connection as patrons get to custom print macarons with their choice of text, whether a name or letters, or custom print candy-covered chocolates in their preferred shapes. Apart from the cool factor, these sweets are great souvenirs or even gifts.

Apart from Food Connection, The Seletar Mall will also be running other promotions from now till 14 August, where patrons stand to win attractive prizes.

Spend a minimum of $50 in the mall and get to enter the lucky draw, where you’ll stand a chance to win prizes worth over $2,500. These include a Tefal rice cooker, a Mayer Air Fryer, an Electrolux blender, and many more.

Each shopper gets a maximum of five chances to participate per day, while S3 Rewards members get double the chances.

Spend a minimum of $80 with at least one receipt from an F&B establishment, and get a sure-win chance to spin and win attractive mall, shopping, dining, or entertainment vouchers. S3 Rewards members and Citibank cardmembers only need to spend $60. Terms and conditions apply for this and the lucky draw.

If you aren’t a S3 Rewards member, the Food Festival provides you even more incentive to sign up, especially if you’re a Citibank cardmember, as you get a free $5 Mall eVoucher when you sign up with the promo code ‘CITI + [first six digits of your Citi Credit Card number]’. This is limited to the first 1,000 redemptions. Terms and conditions apply as well.

Check out our The Seletar Mall food guide for more ideas on where you can spend, in order to participate in their Food Festival!
