Acai bowls seem to be making a quiet comeback, with the likes of Ola Acai and Acai Brothers setting up shop in the past year. The Summer Acai is another noteworthy name to add to your list if you’re a fan of acai. They’ve just launched a kiosk at Woodlands Vista Point!

The Summer Acai announced their new takeaway store in an IG post this week. This marks their 10th outlet across the island, including locations in Beauty World, Joo Chiat, Tampines, and Kovan. Their latest branch is a five-minute walk from Woodlands South MRT Station on the Thomson-East Coast Line.

Fans love their cheekily named acai bowls; Hot Girl Summer ($7.10/$9.50/$14.90) features a classic acai base with banana, strawberry, kiwi, peach, granola, toasted coconut flakes, and chia seeds. For each bowl, you get to choose a sauce of your choice: Cookie Butter, Almond Butter, Cashew Butter, Peanut Butter, Maple Syrup, Nutella, or Pistachio (+$1). They don’t hold back on the amount of sauce, so you’re getting the most bang for your buck here!

The Sugar Daddy ($7.10/$9.50/$14.90) bowl is another crowd-pleaser. This combination stars Lotus cookie crumble, crushed Oreo, and digestive biscuits for extra crunch and sweetness.

Should you want something more refreshing, treat yourself to Squeeze My Lemons ($10.50/$15.90), which fuses lemon sorbet with their signature acai base. Granola, sliced bananas, strawberries, and blueberries accompany the sweet and tangy treat. You can even DIY your own acai bowl if you’re picky about your toppings!

What’s more, The Summer Acai’s Woodlands outlet closes at 10:30pm, so you can drop by for supper to satisfy your sweet tooth craving.

In dessert-related news, Elijah Pies has opened a dine-in cafe at Tanjong Pagar Plaza with beautiful pies and beverages. Their IG-famous Wild Berry Lavender Pie ($7.90++) is a must-order.
