7 Threads Accounts To Follow For Food Content, Including Deals And Recipe Hacks

Best Threads accounts foodies should follow

When Meta officially rolled out Threads just last week, the new social media platform took the online world by storm. Fans have touted it to be a step up from Twitter for multiple reasons, including the longer 500-character count per thread, and the 10-photo limit you can include in each post. Whether you’re on Camp Twitter or a new Threads app convert, we’ve compiled seven Threads accounts for food, where you’ll find deals, recipe hacks and more!

1. @eatbooksg

You know you love us: @eatbooksg covers the hottest food trends in the speediest fashion, across TikTok, Instagram, and now Threads. From fresh launches—think viral drops such as Mister Donut—to fun recipe hacks and cafe recommendations, follow us if you want to stay up to date on food in Singapore and beyond!

Think of us as your foodie bestie who’ll show you the way around cool convenience store hacks and weird food pairings that’ll make life a little more fun. See you on the flip side!

2. @telegramcollective

If you subscribe to SG Food Deals on Telegram, you need to hit that follow button on @telegramcollective, stat. Here you’ll find exclusive dining deals, promos and more across 14 Singapore-based Telegram channels, including SG Food Deals!

Here’s a teaser on what to expect: check out the list of discount codes above, which you can apply on food delivery platforms including foodpanda and GrabFood!

3. @themeatmensg

Those who love to cook local fare would have heard of @themeatmensg. The Singapore-based channel focuses on food and drink recipes that are mainly Asian-inspired—think Air Fryer Thai Style Crispy Pork Belly, Zi Char Mee Goreng and many more!

4. @yongweikai

Cafe hoppers might be familiar with @yongweikai, who also runs the popular Singapore-based IG page, @sgcafehopping. Look forward to beautiful photos and well-taken food shots on this content creator’s new Threads account, documenting some of the latest cafe openings on the island!

5. @foodnetwork

Food Network is an OG on the food channel scene; if you, like me, grew up watching their shows on the telly, definitely give @foodnetwork a follow on their new Threads account.

Based on their recent threads, fans can engage in conversations on random food debates, as well as repost aesthetically pleasing food videos from the account.

6. @food52

If you’re a true blue foodie like we are, you would have heard of @food52. They’ve already amassed a following of close to 150k followers at the timing of writing this article, so you know they’re legit.

Expect curated, IG-worthy food shots that’ll bless your feed, along with fun food-related conversations that you can partake in. We’re hoping to see more recipes, too!

7. @mariongrasby

Thai-Australian chef and food host Marion Grasby is known for her wide range of recipes, including classic Asian fare and fusion dishes with a spin. Over at her new Threads account, @mariongrasby shares food-related trivia and fun recipe ideas for you to try at home.

Fun fact: the food personality also competed in MasterChef Australia Season 2 back in 2010!

Who to follow on Threads for food ideas
