This Michelin-Approved Stall Has Legit Mee Soto And Mee Rebus At Adam Road

Selamat Datang Warong Pak Sapari at Adam Road Food Centre

Selamat Datang Warong Pak Sapari, a family business spanning three generations, is a hawker stall located at Adam Road Food Centre that sees long queues from as early as 10:30am. Attracting patrons of all ages, primarily for their famous mee soto and mee rebus, the stall was recently awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand this year!

The two must-try dishes here are Mee Soto ($4) and Mee Rebus ($4). While we were there, we also got a warm bowl of Sup Ayam ($5.80), which refers to chicken soup, as it seemed like a good choice thanks to the morning downpour.

Their mee soto features a good handful of yellow noodles and was chock-full of shredded chicken submerged in chicken soup, which is the same base used in their sup ayam.

Sup ayam bears a close resemblance to mee soto as they share the same broth—just that there are no yellow noodles and you get more shredded chicken.

The soup is peppery and rich in flavour, and yet, it’s not overwhelmingly salty to the extent that you find yourself gulping down water.

Finally, their mee rebus comes with the standard ingredients of tau kwa, yellow noodles, and a hard-boiled egg, topped with a viscous gravy.

The mee rebus gravy was rich and fragrant thanks to their secret house-made rempah, which had prominent notes of garlic and turmeric.

For more tasty Muslim-friendly eats, check out Yunos N Family, a hawker stall that has been selling mee rebus and satay since 1965. Otherwise, find out where you can get the best mee rebus in Singapore!
