Tiong Bahru Bakery Opens In Siglap With New Croissant Sandwiches And Milkshake

Tiong Bahru Bakery opens in Siglap

Tiong Bahru Bakery (TBB) continues its takeover of Singapore’s neighbourhoods by storm with the announcement that they’ve opened a new cafe in heartland Siglap, in time for their 10-year anniversary!

Siglap dwellers and Easties can look forward to the 10th Tiong Bahru Bakery entering their ‘hood—the very first Eastside outlet at that.

Instead of the bakery’s signature French bistro-themed decor, Tiong Bahru Bakery Siglap pays homage to the old-school charm of the upper East Coast area with nostalgic, biscuit-themed decor that nods to traditional snack shops. The signature display case, for example, built upon decals styled to look like golden tins of biscuits.

TBB Siglap has seating both indoors, and outdoors. Apart from being a great brunch or break time destination, the cafe is also an ideal working or studying spot, if you’re looking for a change of scenery.

Look forward to all of TBB’s classic bakes at the Siglap outlet, inlcuding their signature croissants, kouign amann, cakes, and tarts. Fresh bread loaves and baguettes will also be available.

In addition, the new opening will have new items gracing their savoury menu. These include Pain Feuilletés, a type of croissant sandwich, available in Egg Mayo and Smoked Salmon flavours. Fans of rillette can also look forward to their new Chicken Rillette Sandwich.

TBB is known for their coffees and teas, but at the Siglap outlet, you can also get your hands on the exclusive Sourdough Coffee Milkshake, a milky thirst-quencher that’s akin to a frappe.

Don’t miss the Salted Egg Brioche too, which reveals a custard-like salted egg yolk middle encased within a sweet and buttery bun.

This news follows the fact that they’re slated to open another outlet in Punggol’s Waterway Point, sometime in late September.

Address: 77 Upper East Coast Road, #01-01, Singapore 455218
Opening hours: Daily 7:30am to 8pm
