There’s A Ramen Buffet From $19.90+ In Jalan Besar, With Unlimited Sides

Shinjitsu Ramen has ramen buffet for $19.90+ in Jalan Besar

Singapore has plenty of Japanese buffets, but they often focus on unlimited servings of sashimi, and yakiniku. Ramen is rarely ever the main star—until Shinjitsu Ramen entered the scene. The Jalan Besar restaurant is offering diners a ramen buffet from now till 15 September, where $19.90+ gets you all-you-can-eat ramen and side dishes.

You get six types of ramen to choose from on the menu, all of them comprising broths prepared in-house.

There’s the classic Tonkotsu Ramen, with fatty, collagen-rich broth, and the Tonkotsu Special, which levels up the OG with additional toppings. Paitan ramen fans can choose their Clear Chicken Broth Ramen.

Dial up the spice with their Red Spicy Tonkotsu, or Black Spicy Tonkotsu. The former is served with chilli oil, while the latter uses black garlic.

Finally, there’s the Ginger Pork Ramen for something that’s more aromatic.

Apart from the ramens, diners get their pick of eight different side dishes, all of which are all-you-can-eat. This includes tender Grilled Squid, two types of Gyoza, Japanese Fried Rice, and other chicken bites.

You also get non-alcoholic beverages included in the ramen buffet fee.

The $19.90+ price tag is only applicable for lunch, from 11am to 2pm. Else, dinner is priced at $39.90+ per person, and is available from 5pm to 10pm daily. Dining slots, however, are limited to only 2 hours.

Note that Shinjitsu Ramen has two other outlets, one in Toa Payoh, and one in Ang Mo Kio, though the buffet is only available at their Jalan Besar restaurant.

Else, there’s Rama Bear Mart in the area that’s worth checking out. This new Thai supermarket has After You Shibuya toasts, and Thai 7-Eleven treats.
