Tipo Strada is giving out 100 free plates of pasta in Bendemeer

Tipo Strada needs no introduction—the popular pasta bar has grown to open five outlets across Singapore, with one located along the stretch at Hamilton Road. If you’re a fan of their handmade pasta dishes, good news: they are giving out 100 free plates of any pasta dish only on 10 October 2024, so mark your calendars and make your way down to their Hamilton Road outlet in Bendemeer ASAP.

Their menu is extensive with a total of 15 pasta dishes to choose from. These dishes are categorised into four groups: Red, White, Pink, and Favourites. During our visit, we tried the Rosé Duck ($15.50++) from the Pink category, featuring Gemelli Pasta—a short spiral pasta—drenched in a creamy tomato sauce with a hint of curry, and topped with lots of feta cheese.

Seafood fans can opt for the crowd-favourite Black Prawn ($19.90++) instead; this savoury dish features three tiger prawns and nori-infused Campanelle—or whatever pasta that tickles your fancy—covered in a jet-black squid ink sauce and finished with cherry tomatoes.

There’s also the Chicken Arrabiata ($15.50++), Beef Bolognese ($15.90++) and three more dishes from the Red category, so take your time to choose your free pasta.

Note that the deal is only for dine in, limited to one serving per person. To redeem the free pasta, simply present this Instagram post.  Though the cafe operates from 11am to 10pm, we already foresee a long queue forming outside, with folks waiting in line to snag a plate of free pasta. Here’s a gentle reminder to head down as early as possible to avoid a wasted trip! 

For easy access, Tipo Strada at Hamilton Road is a four-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT Station.
