You Can Get $0.50 Hotpot Ingredients At This Supermarket In Geylang

Umi Supermarket has cheap hotpot ingredients in Geylang

If you’re rushing for last-minute CNY shopping, this place has got your back. Located in Geylang is Umi Supermarket, a mini grocery store with cheap hotpot ingredients, including seafood, meat, and other staples, starting at just $0.50!

At the centre of the store are two huge freezers filled with hotpot staples, all priced at $1.

Choose from a wide range of hotpot staples, including Crab Sticks, Fish Ball, and Fishcake.

They also offer more premium ingredients such as Fish Ball With Fish Roe, Cheese Tofu, and Seafood Tofu, each priced at $1.50.

If you aren’t a fan of seafood, head to their meat section instead.

There are three fridges in the meat section, filled with shabu shabu pork and assorted beef cuts.

Their beef items cost $10 per 200g, while their pork items are priced at $10 for three 200g boxes, which works out to just $3.33 per box—a pretty good deal in our books.

Popular picks here include their fatty Pork Belly, Pork Roll, and Sliced Beef Shoulder.

A hotpot meal wouldn’t be complete without fresh veggies—and they’ve got plenty of them here, starting at just $1.40. Choose between hotpot staples, including Cabbage ($1.40), Tomato ($1.40), Mushroom ($1.6), Baby Corn ($1.50), Lotus Root ($1.50) and many more.

Bargain hunters shouldn’t miss out on their wall of instant noodles. Each packet here costs just $0.50, a deal that sounds almost too good to be true.

There are five types of noodles available, including Carrot, Pumpkin, Spinach, and their popular Sweet Potato flavour.

Umi Supermarket is located along Geylang Road, a quick eight-minute walk from Paya Lebar MRT Station.

We were told that they will have a store-wide price freeze till 16 February 2026, so do head soon to catch this deal!
