Wang Dae Bak Korean BBQ Opens In Holland Village, With Angus Ribeye And Pork Belly Sets

Wang Dae Bak Korean BBQ

Wang Dae Bak Korean BBQ is arguably one of the more popular names in Singapore’s thriving Korean barbecue scene. While they’re most familiar to CBD diners given their presence in Amoy Street and Cross Street, the restaurant has recently made the move to branch out to the West, with their latest opening in Holland Village.

Wang Dae Bak Holland Village is located in Holland Piazza, on the second floor.

Their menu is divided into two: lunch, and dinner. For lunch, you can get ultra-value-for-money lunch sets, mostly under $21++. Sets come with a main dish, soup, and a selection of banchan. Popular options include their Bulgolgi Combo ($17++), which gives you the best of both worlds, as you get either beef, pork, or chicken bulgolgi served on a hotplate, and kimchi, seafood, or tofu jjigae soup.

You can have K-BBQ for lunch if you prefer a midday feast. The menu is exactly the same as what’s offered for dinner. Diners can opt for portions of beef, pork, and/or chicken, or opt to enjoy a variety by purchasing their sets. If you’re dining with a friend and don’t mind splurging on something a tad more premium, we highly recommend the KBBQ Prime Set ($98++), which comes with US Prime Ribeye, Marinated Bone-In Prime Ribs, and UK Pork Tomahawk.

For something more wallet-friendly, but equally good, there’s the Buddy Set ($58++). This platter comes with Marinated Prime Ribs, Duroc Pork Belly or Collar, Flower Pork Belly, and Marinated Chicken.

Currently, Wang Dae Bak Holland Village is running a promotion, where an Angus Ribeye Slice & Veggie Set for two is priced at $58++—a $5 discount off the usual $63++ price tag. This platter comes with 300g of premium, marbled ribeye, and a selection of vegetables.

Add on classic Korean dishes to your K-BBQ meal. Wang Dae Bak has a selection of soups, Korean pork knuckle dishes, fried chicken, pancakes, and carbs. We highly recommend their Half Half Pancake ($26++)—half seafood, and half kimchi. The generous portion can easily feed a group of four to five.
